Three-Minute
Liturgical Catechesis
Lawrence E. Mick
Item # 44110
Catequesis
Litúrgica en Tres Minutos
Lawrence E. Mick
Item # 44111
In his Apostolic
letter of October 2004 inaugurating the Year of the
Eucharist, Pope John Paul II urges that “Pastors
should be committed to that mystagogical catechesis so
dear to the Fathers of the Church, by which the
faithful are helped to understand the meaning of the
liturgy's words and actions, to pass from its signs to
the mystery which they contain, and to enter into that
mystery in every aspect of their lives.”
The FDLC offers these reflections on the Eucharist to
assist pastors and pastoral leaders in such a
catechetical effort.
Each of these twenty six articles on the
Eucharist is short enough (around 400 words) to be
read before Mass or after Communion, or inserted into
the parish bulletin.
Cost: $25 for unlimited reproduction rights for one
parish (plus shipping and handling)

The
Eucharistic Prayer: A Guide to Participation
Andrew Ciferni & Melissa Musick
Nussbaum
Item # 44680
La
Plegaria Eucarística:
Guía Para La Participación
Andrew Ciferni & Melissa Musick
Nussbaum
Item # 44681
"Praise
shapes our lives. Like water running over a
rock, the praise of God sculpts us, forms us
and turns us from a people looking in the
mirror to a people looking at God and
God’s world, at God’s creatures. It
transforms us into a people whose very lives
are a daily acknowledgement of God’s
glory. Our tradition calls this
“doxology” from the Greek meaning a word
(logos) about glory (doxa). Seeing this
glory, praising this glory, living and
moving and having our being within this
glory is the goal of all our prayer, indeed,
of our very lives."
This series of five inserts by Andrew
Ciferni and Melissa Musick Nussbaum explores
ways in which we may come to deeper
participation in the Eucharistic Prayer at
Mass, our highest form of prayer, and how
this can help transform our lives.
Cost for one
parish: $50 to reproduce up to 500 copies of the set,
$75 for up to 1,000 copies, $100 for over 1,000
copies (plus shipping and handling).

Edward Foley, Capuchin
Item # 44320
El Sacrificio de la Misa y Nuestro Llamado a
la Misión
Edward Foley, Capuchin
Item # 44321

Why is
participating in a “Word and Communion”
service as part of a Sunday celebration in
the absence of a Priest not the same as
celebrating the Eucharist? And why is that
difference so important? In this six-part
series, Fr. Edward Foley presents the
elements that distinguish the Mass from
Communion services, and in so doing explores
a rich understanding of the efficacious
action of the Eucharist. The inserts are
based on his popular presentation at the
FDLC National Meeting in Indianapolis in
2002.

Imagination: Renewal of Our Call to Mission
